My Bucket List
My Bucket List Ideas and Ideas for Yours
“Never say ‘no’ to adventures. Always say ‘yes,’ otherwise, you’ll lead a very dull life.”
-Ian Fleming
A bucket list is just like planning all the highlights for YOUR life you would like to do and enjoy!. 😀 Coming up with my list gave me new things to look forward to, as I now have some events to look forward to!
1. Travel all around the world!
Travelling is the single best activity that exposes you to new cultures, it broadens your mind, it lets you move out of your comfort zone, that allows you to meet new people, and experience the wonders of the world.
2. Go scuba diving/snorkelling and experience marine life up close!
I would love to go under land and see all of the bizarre creatures underwater. Since we spend all of our lives on land, we don’t get to visit the world which is under the sea
3. Go skiing!
There’s something about being able to glide on snow while controlling your motor movements that just makes skiing such a fun sport. Skiing sounds like the most fun thing in the world. And, the fact that it is done on snow, makes it even more exciting!. I love snow and will do anything to have a snowball fight with my friends and family. I feel it is worth a try for sure!
4. Go horseback riding!
Horseback riding in itself can be a good sport to relax and unwind from the busy life. I remember I did go horseback riding when I was very young but I don’t have any memories of that so I want to do it once again with my friends!
5.Climb a mountain!
Climbing a mountain with just enough safety and precautions would provide a lot of joy! Climbing a mountain is different than trekking or hiking because trekking does not require technical skills and knowledge. On the other hand, mountain climbing requires high technical skills and fitness level. I think mountain climbing is definitely a bucket list-worthy item. I haven’t climbed a mountain yet but I plan to do that sometime in the future!
6. Do an extreme sport!
Doing any extreme sport sounds like lots of fun. I would love to go skydiving and hold all my friend’s hands once I reach mid-air as you see in the above picture! While the experience may only last a couple of minutes, those few minutes will be some of the most memorable ones in your life.
7.Fly in a hot-air balloon!
The view of the world as you float away in a hot-air balloon… spectacular. Once, I got to fly in a hot-air balloon while I was in Africa. But, once again I was too young to remember any of this!
8.Experience a sunrise/sunset!
Sunrises and sunsets are some of the most beautiful gifts from mother nature. And the best thing? We get them free every day. I would love to sit on a beach and just stare at then sun as it sets!
9. See the Northern Lights!
The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, is a “natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude (Arctic and Antarctic) regions, caused by the collision of energetically charged particles with atoms in the high altitude atmosphere” (Wikipedia). A natural phenomenon, the northern lights is a magnificent sight to behold, which is why people from all around the world travel great distances just for a chance to witness this phenomenon.
10. Get a pet!
Aren’t pets the most adorable creatures in the world? I love dogs and Shih Tzus in particular! I still don’t have one but how amazing it would be once I do get one!
